ARCS are currently recruiting for experienced Full Time, Part Time & Relief Social Care Workers & Support Workers for their Autism and Disabilities centre based in Clogheen, Co. Tipperary.


Who we are -

As a Social Care Worker / Support Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential centre and work in close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and Team Lead in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.


What we can offer you:

  • Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers of €38,953 - €42,000 and €35,000 - €38,000 for Support Workers per annum (depending on experience) inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

  • Combination of shifts patterns are inclusive of 24-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, Live waking night shifts.

Qualifications & Experience


Minimum Level 7 qualification or degree in the care sector some relevant degrees include:

  • Social Care
  • Social work
  • Psychology
  • Child & Adult Psychotherapy
  • Youth & Community
  • Teaching
  • Nursing
  • Social Science
  • Counselling
  • Addiction Studies
  • Early Childhood studies
  • Disability studies


Support workers need a minimum of a Level 5 Major Award qualification in the care sector.


  • A full driving licence
  • Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
