As part of our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we are currently looking for a Weddings and Events executive to join the team at Cliff at Lyons.

Main Duties & Responsibilities Include:

       Take calls and contacts from hotel guests and prospective clients

       Deliver exceptional customer care and guest service

       Operate the hotel booking systems (Hotsoft)

       Communicate with the wedding couple from the initial booking stages through to the wedding day

       Assist with the wedding day set up and ensure all details of the day are communicated and handed over to the operations team accordingly

       Problem solving and dealing with the daily guest enquiries, requests and expectations by phone/email

       Conduct site inspections & arrange tastings where required

       Assist clients with menu planning, food and beverage coordination, table arrangements, decoration options, etc.

       Arrange all details of meetings and conferences from enquiry to contract to include room set-ups, staging, lighting, audio-visual, menus, decor, entertainment, group room blocks, and VIP services

       Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience

       Analyse and action against client satisfaction surveys to improve services

       Prepare and issue weekly function sheets

 

Qualifications:

       Excellent spoken and written English

       Minimum of 1-2 years previous Wedding or Events experience in a 4* property

       Solid knowledge of Front Office Booking System Procedures

       Highly organised

       Excellent Microsoft office skills; Word, Excel, and Hotsoft Reservation package preferable

Applicants are required to have minimum 1 years' experience working in a Wedding or Events role.
