About Us:

The McWilliam Park Hotel is a Failte Ireland approved luxurious four-star hotel. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a popular hotel for celebrating special occasions like weddings or to enjoy a romantic break or family getaway.

The hotel boasts 103 comfortable large sized hotel bedrooms, a leisure club (Evolve Health & Fitness) with a fully equipped gym, an indoor heated swimming pool and children's pool.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce food for the area in which you are assigned as well as to the agreed standards in conjunction with other chefs.
• Ensure all necessary mise-en-place are ready prior to service.
• Ensure that preparation is done for the next morning.
• .Make sure that all the guests' needs and requirements are met.
• Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Attend all in-house training including manual handling, fire training, food hygiene training etc.
• Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations and enforce HACCP.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and rules
• Report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents and damage.
• Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
• Store items properly and in line with the SOP at the end of the shift.
• Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area at all times.
• Assist other chefs in the kitchen when requested.
• Minimize wastage 

Requirements:

•  The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 /3years' experience in a similar role
