This role is a 'hands on' position with whole business department interaction. There is a requirement to hold great strengths in multi-tasking and being able to pull projects and audit structures together, majority of the time without Director guidance. The role comes with administration support but requires your full involvement for the support to be productive.

 

 Deep diving into the role a little more:

  • Experience in Quality / ATEX / Environmental Management meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 80079:34 ATEX Manufacturing and Environment Management Systems ISO 14001
  • Awareness of ISO 45001
  • Be proficient in conducting internal audits within the business and external audits with/on suppliers.
  • You will be the businesses point of contact for all external audits relating to ISO 9001, 80079 and 14001 and you will be the businesses representative when the external auditors come to the business for surveillance audits and or recertification audits
  • Experience in chairing QMS meetings
  • Experience in supporting the introduction of new product into our QMS systems
  • Hold excellent inter-department communication skills and be able to think as far out of the box as possible!
  • Have experience in Non-conformances and the control of them
  • Full training of the business background and our products and services will be given, enabling the day-to-day tasks of the job to be more clearly understood.
  • External training will be provided if required for ATEX Manufacturing

 

About you:

You must be able to converse well with all levels within the business and be highly organised as well as willing to introduce new ideas to the business, helping the position and the business to flourish. Alongside excellent telephone manner, you also need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Publisher and Excel. You will be expected to carry out tasks without much guidance once trained, as you will be required to work on your own initiative. You must be well presented as you may be expected to greet, on occasion, customers to the business.

 

A clean driving licence will be needed as once trained the need for conducting Audits off site may be a required (a great mix of workload!)
