Tachograph Technician / Camera Systems

Job Purpose: To take responsibility for the management of all tachograph installation to fulfil the requirements of the Company in relation to our Operator's Licence.
Specific Qualifications / Job Training
- Preferred - electrical / mechanical knowledge
Specific Experience
- Experience in a similar position preferred but not essential
- Computer literacy essential
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Demonstrate an interest in EU Drivers Hours and Tachograph legislation
- Able to working unsupervised and manage own work
Specific Skills
- An effective communicator with good telephone manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to interact at all levels both internal and external
- Team player with a flexible 'Can Do' attitude
- Ability to follow management instructions
- Timekeeping and organisational skills
Company/Industry Knowledge
- Interested in working in a multi-disciplined environment
- Interested in the UK road transport and logistics industry
Specific Key Accountabilities
- Installation and fault diagnostics Tachographs.
- Installation of cameras
- Installation of tracker units
- Installation of Telephones
- Work flexibly which will require some weekend working as the role will involve some travelling between depots
- Carry out other duties as required to ensure the smoothing running of the department
