We are currently working with a nursery who are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their warm and welcoming team at a long-established day nursery in Shenfield, Brentwood. The nursery is set in a converted home, offering a cozy and nurturing environment. It's an exciting time for us as they recently completed a refurbishment of their facilities. The nursery take pride in fostering strong parent partnerships, promoting optimal nutrition, offering a rich extracurricular program, and organising outings in the local community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children
  • Foster creativity, imagination, and friendships within the nursery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and families
  • Support the ongoing professional development of your team
  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular programs and local community outings
  • Collaborate with the Nursery Manager and Deputies to implement nursery plans
  • Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Maintain records of children's development and learning progress

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years or equivalent
  • Experience working in a day nursery setting
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about early years care
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to nurture and support children's development
