Requirements

Key Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and process enquiries and applications in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and emails, record resolutions or pass on messages quickly and professionally.
  • Support the rest of the team to maximise the number of students on each course and deliver the required KPIs.
  • Demonstrate awareness of sales techniques to support eligible applicants to choose the right film school for them.
  • Process payments and ensure all course fees are received before the commencement of each course and in line with the LFA Terms and Conditions.
  • Assist in the issuing of student communications, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and arrange interviews for potential students with LFA staff, tutors, and applicants.
  • Following set processes, ensure the LFA admissions system/database is always complete and up to date.
  • Prepare weekly reports detailing statistical analysis of enquiry and application trends to ensure the Senior Management Team is kept up to date regarding admissions performance.
  • Support the wider LFA strategy to improve the customer journey for all LFA students.
  • Check and review submitted application material, ensure eligibility is met, and liaise with the validating university. 
  • Assist in monitoring tuition fee payments to ensure all course fees are received before the commencement of each course and in line with the LFA Terms and Conditions, ensuring students remain compliant with their Payment Plans.
  • Work with the Admissions Manager and the Senior Admissions Coordinator to ensure the admissions process manuals are up to date and ensure consistent working practices across the wider team. 
  • Assist in ensuring the LFA admissions system/database is accurate, complete and up-to-date, and relevant stakeholders are kept informed of course performance (KPIs). 

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrable experience within admissions in education or an equivalent area.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to create a rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders, especially prospective students, and their parents.
  • Team player able to follow set processes and procedures, escalating issues quickly.
  • Ability to plan workload effectively for busy periods.
  • Knowledge of macOS and Office 365 including Excel and Word.
  • Strong administration skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to take on a high workload in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks.

Role Details

Salary: £27k - £31k per annum

Hours of work: full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Based: On-site at 52a Walham Grove, London SW6 1QR

A hybrid work arrangement is possible with a requirement of at least 3 days at the office each week.
