We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Executive to join our shared service Finance team.

The SSC Finance department is responsible for safeguarding and controlling the company’s assets, ensuring processes and controls are in place to protect profit and assets. We take responsibility for accurately recording and minimising the company’s liabilities, preparation of accurate and timely financial information and ensuring that Unlimited companies adhere to all relevant financial legislation and legal responsibilities.

As part of The Unlimited Group the SSC team adhere to strict monthly reporting deadlines; accuracy, timeliness and clarity of information is key.

Ideally you will be Part qualified AAT or qualified by experience, and looking to join a fast paced supportive team. You'll have previous experience in a similar role, and be looking for further your career in finance.

Please note this role is offered on 9 month FTC contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Accounts Payable processing including examining, verifying and reconciling a variety of transactions
  • Ensure that accurate records are maintained and targets for prompt payment are achieved.
  • Manage the aged creditors, clear queries and any aged items
  • Assist with the processing of invoices and supplier statement reconciliations, across a ledger of several suppliers
  • Performing AP intercompany processing and reconciliation
  • Dealing with internal and external suppliers queries
  • Ad-hoc admin tasks as designated by the AP Team Leader
  • Producing KPI/stats on AP transactions/activity
  • Processing of DD’s, CC’s and Expenses in an accurate and timely manner
  • Archiving and recording of invoices and other AP paperwork

Requirements

  • Ideally you will be Part qualified AAT or qualified by experience, having experience in a similar role
  • You'll be highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Good communicator both written and oral
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Be solutions driven, with a flexible and agile approach to work
  • Be knowledgeable about and follow key legal controls and directives
