Role: Delivery Service Partner/Delivery Driver & Trainer - Multi Drop - Self-Employed

Work Patterns: Our SPT's must work 6-days per week.

Contract Term: Indefinite/Peak

Average Earnings: £720 - £1,020 per week (£180 - £170 per day)

Note: All of our Senior Drivers, Warehouse, Local and Regional Managers, and Trainers have and will be promoted from within our driver community. Our Trainers enjoy a substantial earnings increase for delivering thorough, hands-on training to new drivers, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to excel. This opportunity extends to both our internal workforce (who have met certain KPIs) and any external interest. Internal interest will take priority.

What we're looking for?

We are seeking motivated, reliable, and experienced delivery drivers to join our team. In addition to making deliveries, you will have the opportunity to take on an additional role as a Driver Trainer, helping onboard and train new delivery drivers. This dual role includes a daily incentive for training, offering you additional earnings and responsibility.

Requirements

Driver Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Train, mentor, and support new delivery drivers during their onboarding period.
  • Demonstrate best practices in delivery processes, route optimisation, and customer service.
  • Guide new drivers through daily vehicle safety checks, paperwork, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate new drivers' performance, providing constructive feedback and practical tips for improvement.
  • Serve as the point of contact for any questions or challenges that new drivers may face during their training period.
  • Report progress, feedback, and training outcomes to the management team.
  • Ensure that all training is conducted in line with company policies and safety standards.
  • Support our Regional Sites as and when required.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar delivery driver role with over 95% excellent KPIs which can be verified.
  • Prior experience in training or mentoring other delivery drivers
  • Strong knowledge of delivery processes, time management, and certain geographical areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and mentor new drivers.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems on the go.

Internal Note:

To be considered for any internal promotion, applicants must maintain 90% or higher across all B-Spokes KPIs for 12 consecutive weeks. No exceptions apply. For interest, first speak to your local General Manager.
