Responsibilities

Our goal is to significantly reduce carbon emissions from residential properties across Europe within the next five years. To achieve this, we are building a robust, scalable, and flexible tech platform capable of developing and deploying a range of financial products across multiple geographies. This ambitious challenge requires the expertise of world-class software engineers, and to help drive this vision forward, we are seeking 1 to 2 Senior Software Engineers to join our team.

  • Design, develop, and maintain a dynamic, scalable, and user-friendly frontend architecture for our platform.
  • Lead frontend technical projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, backend developers, and DevOps teams to define and implement new features.
  • Mentor junior frontend engineers, offering guidance and contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team environment.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, interface design, and the overall technical direction of the frontend platform.
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of the frontend platform, adhering to best coding practices and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and continuously improve code quality within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frontend frameworks to improve the development process and user experience.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of professional experience in frontend software development.
  • Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing responsive, maintainable web applications using React or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, UI/UX principles, and optimising for performance and scalability.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into frontend systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior frontend developers, contributing to technical discussions and decisions.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility, web standards, and secure coding practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, clarity of thought and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
