OUR STORY

Founded in 2016, DF Capital was born with a focus on distribution finance - providing dealers, distributors, and manufacturers with the funding they need to stock, display, and sell products, without straining cash flow.

Since then, we’ve delivered over £3.5bn of funding across diverse sectors. From motorhomes and machinery to motorbikes and lodges, we’ve financed all shapes and sizes of commercial vehicles and automobiles (no planes or trains - yet). We listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in 2019.

BECOMING A BANK

In 2020, we became a fully authorised bank, extending our offering with savings products for retail depositors. THE ROLE

The Marketing & Communications Manager - Retail is a new role, responsible for creating, and delivering communications, engagement, and events activity that enables the business to attract and retain retail finance and retail savings customers. This role is key to supporting our consumer asset finance proposition and consumer-facing products by delivering marketing and communications activities that enhance the customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:

·        Support the Head of Marketing & Communications in the development and execution of a compelling consumer marketing strategy that covers the end-to-end customer experience cycle.

·        Develop and execute marketing and communications initiatives to build product awareness among distribution partners, intermediaries and aggregators

·        Work closely with the retail savings, consumer asset finance leadership team and the wider marketing and communications team to ensure seamless delivery of campaigns and communication programmes

·        Measure the success of campaigns and initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.

·        Develop and enhance customer onboarding processes to ensure good outcomes are achieved and customers receive an exceptional level of service

·        Work with relevant teams to improve the overall retail customer experience

·        Produce MI and reporting through regular analysis of Google Analytics, customer service reviews and other data sources

·        Provide cover and support the broader Marketing & Communications team where appropriate e.g. annual leave etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The Marketing & Communications Manager – Retail plays a critical role in fostering a positive experience for customer and driving brand loyalty. This role requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as a passion for creating great customer experiences.

Experience

Must possess required knowledge and/or qualifications so that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

·         Minimum of 3 years marketing and/or communications experience within the financial services industry. Experience of producing financial promotions is highly desirable.

·         Qualification from Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Data & Marketing Association (DMA), Institute of Data & Marketing (IDM) or Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) desirable

·         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with employees, stakeholders, and partners.

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences

·         Content creation skills – copywriting and graphic design skills required, photography and/or videography skills a bonus.

·         Experience with digital marketing tools such as CMS, email marketing and social media scheduling and measurement tools.

·         Strong project management and organisational skills

·         Knowledge of marketing and communications best practices and trends

·         Ability to analyse data and create reports to measure success, including Google Analytics (GA4).
