Requirements

• Develop and refine recipes for new and existing beers.
• Oversee daily brewing operations, mashing, fermentation, and conditioning.
• Monitor quality control throughout the process to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and oversee purchasing.
• Maintain Brewing equipment and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation.
• Leading on tours of the brewery.
• Train and mentor brewing staff.
• Collaborate with our internal product development team.
• Analyse brewing data and adjust processes to improve efficiency and output.
• Stay current with industry innovations and technology.
• Creating product production plans to align with company strategy.
• Oversee and manage packaging of products.

Person Specification

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a brewing environment.
• Degree in brewing science, food science or a related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of brewing techniques, equipment and quality control.
• Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Computer literate with good skills in MS office and systems.
• Making sound and good decisions.
• Professional and personable manner.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
• Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks.
• Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of the wider Dyson Farming team.
