My client is a very popular and successful 11-18 Secondary school near Newark, they offer a first class education and in return students have a strong work ethic and positive attitude towards learning, the school is easily accessible by car from the A1 and local public transport routes.

The school require an experience and suitably qualified Food Technology Teacher to deliver the National Curriculum to key stage 3 and key stage 4.

The school have also indicated for the right Food Technology Teacher they can offer the opportunity to be a Head of Department if desired!

This is a full time Food Technology Teaching role from October half term until the end of the academic year, as this is a full time role, Monday - Friday, you will be expected to be involved with planning and marking and throw yourself into school life.

However a part time opportunity may also be considered!

To be considered you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP, Certificate in Education etc. Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) will also be considered but it’s highly desirable that you have Qualified Teacher Status for the UK.

Applications are welcome from experienced Food Technology Teachers and those Teachers that have recently qualified, the school are happy to pay on the Main Point Scale for this position.

All Food Technology Teachers who register with Travail Education will have 2 years professional references taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service and you will be required to attend our offices in Grantham for a face to face registration!
