We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced compensation and benefits professional to join a highly respected charity. This is a stand-alone role reporting to the Executive People Director. You will work with the organisation, leading on all compensation and benefits matters, aligning processes with the D&I and HR change teams.

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist responsibilities will include:

  • Build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead on all compensation & benefits BAU and project work
  • Support the HR Leadership team with the delivery of a new compensation framework including job family design and modelling
  • Preparing and submit data for compensation and HR data surveys, including salary benchmarking and D&I indexing
  • Preparation, analysis, utilisation and presentation of data to make proposals supporting the HR change agenda
  • Deliver the annual pay award process
  • Support HR Partners and the Recruitment team with job evaluations using Hay methodology, and providing up to date salary benchmarking information
  • Deliver gender and ethnicity pay reporting
  • Management and administration of the employee benefit platform, including liaising with providers and negotiating benefits renewals
  • Monitoring of external trends and regulatory development
  • Communication of the compensation and benefit programmes to employees

What you must have:

  • Ability to work autonomously but effectively with others
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong reward experience and ability to align processes with the organisation
  • Excellent excel skills, and PowerBI experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to build reports and present the information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience working on managing reward projects
