Job Title: CSCS Blue Carded Shuttering Carpenters
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Duration: Ongoing Works

Pyramid Recruitment is seeking several skilled shuttering carpenters for an ongoing project in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Proprietary Formwork Systems, focusing on beams, soffits, kickers, and pre-cast units, ensuring safe methods of work.
• Demonstrate knowledge and competency in shuttering carpentry.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy objects.
• Competent in performing routine manual tasks.
• Work to precise lines and levels, meeting high tolerances.
• Understand and execute tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work outdoors and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• CSCS Skilled Worker Card (BLUE) (mandatory).
• Level 3 qualification in Formwork (preferred): Competency in constructing complex stairs, landings, ramps, inclined, curved, or circular structures.
• Working at Heights: Training such as Scissor Lift, IPAF, and Harness Training (preferred).
• Abrasive Wheels (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret both paper and 3D model drawings.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Overtime Rates:
  • Overtime A (Saturday): £33.63 per hour (first 4 hours at time and a half, thereafter double time).
  • Overtime B (Sunday): £44.84 per hour.
• Basic Hours: 39 hours per week, plus 9 hours at time and a half, with paid breaks totaling 2.5 hours = Total 50.5 hours.
• Bonus Scheme: Available after 2 months.
• Lodge: Paid back to you.
• Pension Scheme.
• Payment: Every 2 weeks.
