SALARY:  Up to £70,000 per annum dependent on experience

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with up to 20 hours overtime

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is seeking a Project Manager to provide end to end project management for their clients. This position is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who was worked in the industry and is wanting a new challenge with a successful business.

The Opportunity:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-run business; with their head office based in Leicestershire and refurbishments taking place across the UK, you will work a 40-hour basic week with overtime required at times. Our client pride themselves on their ability to deliver refurbishment of retail units on time and within budget; as Project Manager you will deliver an end-to-end management service for clients from preparing project quotations through to executing variations and snag management.

Role profile:

  • Conduct pre - project site surveys and collate design information
  • Carry out site progress visits and assist Site Manager with reactive requirements
  • Deliver & maintain agreed project within technical and financial targets
  • Prepare quotations for projects in line with client requirements
  • Manage timelines, quality and costs
  • Procurement duties and cost negotiations
  • Collate design information from suppliers, clients and the in-house team
  • Take responsibility for site logistics and co-ordination
  • Implement site health and safety
  • Site completion handovers
  • Work with other PM’s and allocate staff resources accordingly
  • End-to-end project management through to submitting final account for approval

Person profile:

  • Min of 5 years’ experience in shopfitting and Project Management
  • Full driving licence
  • NVQ/City & Guilds qualification in carpentry and Leadership is desirable
  • Line management experience
  • Health & Safety qualifications
  • Pricing and estimating experience
  • Ability to bring in new business and site operatives
  • Strong customer service and account management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to travel and work away frequently
