Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a well-established M&E Design and Build Contractor
Our client have been operating for over 30 years and have secured key contracts within the commercial, education, fit out, industrial, healthcare, retail and leisure sectors and are now looking to expand their Mechanical division, by adding experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to their team.
Key duties include:
- Project management of the installation of Mechanical services multiple with values ranging from £500,000 - £2M.
- Manage multiple tenders and projects throughout various stages.
- Procurement of materials and labour, obtaining quotations and negotiations.
- Organising and managing direct labour and subcontractors.
- Effective cost management and forecasting
- Identifying, documenting, and costing project variations
- Compiling final accounts and liaising with Quantity Surveyors
- Establishing and maintaining client relations
- Compiling technical submittals
- Undertaking Risk & Method Statements
- Carry out site surveys and prepare reports.
- Diagnose onsite issues and advise on work required
- Attend/Lead Site and Client Meetings as required.
- Co-ordination with all trades
- Ensuring all work meets with expected standards
- Client handovers and demonstrations
- Quality control
Experience Required:
- 5+ industry years’ experience in a similar role (or experience within a similar role)
- CSCS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3-Mechanical
- Industry based qualifications ONC/HNC/HND
- Preferred work experience in the Commercial sector
- SMSTS (Desired)
