DACS Ltd is a provider of electrical control solutions predominantly in the automotive sector.  DACS design, manufacture, install and maintain a range of high-performance automation and electrical systems throughout the UK and Europe.

Due to significant growth DACS are looking for a Project Manager, based in the Merseyside.

The role requires strong technical experience in Project Management within the automotive industry primarily conveyor control systems, ideally the candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background

Role requirements

Manage a team to deliver high quality projects and services to the relevant project specifications and regulations.

Manage the team within the company policies and procedures

Responsible for meeting with the customer and providing quotations and budgeted costs for electrical services and projects.

Attending weekly project meetings with the customer.

Generate the planning and organisation of the Project/Service, and the teams required to meet given priorities and tasks i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Installation and Customer Handover.

Delivering projects within budget and the timing plan, whilst managing procurement of materials, equipment, and resources.  Ideally being able to delivery multiple projects, at different lifecycles.

Liasing with the solution providers on the customer’s site.

Ability to work in a face paced environment, reacting to any changes to customer requirements/project requirements.

Proficient in MS Projects, MS Excel and MS Word.

Have the ability to forecast a project from a resource and material point of view.
