Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced General Foreman on behalf of a leading remediation / earthworks & civil engineering contractor to oversee projects across North of England...
This contractor are a well-known name in the industry with a strong reputation for quality within their long-standing team. They pride themselves on delivering efficient solutions for a number of clients from housing to commercial & industrial. The business operates from a Yorkshire office & has a large number of live projects on the ground across Midlands, Yorkshire, North East & Lincolnshire.
Projects cover: brownfield, remediation, bulk earthworks, muck shift, soil stabilization, contaminated land & general civils packages.
Duties as General Foreman:
- Plant checks & check sheets
- Delivering HSE toolbox talks
- Delivering daily briefings
- Monitoring H&S on site
- Supervision of sub-contractors and direct labour
- Assisting with permits & documentation
- Attending progress meetings
- Assisting Site Agent in daily running of site to meet deadlines & targets
Experience Required as General Foreman:
- Must have experience as General Foreman / Site Supervisor delivering remediation / bulk earthworks related schemes
- Must have experience of managing workforces made up of both sub-contractor & direct staff
- Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid and full driving license
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to £52,000 (dependant on experience) plus...
