Senior Commercial Manager - Logistics

Are you a proven sales / commercial professional, working within the logistics & distribution sector? Have you achieved all you can in your current role and now looking for a new challenge and join a well-known, leading independent logistics provider based in Eastleigh who deal with UK & global logistics of mainly FMCG.
The Role:
In this role you will have full responsibility for identifying potential customers, approaching & tendering, and ultimately bringing new business onboard, whilst managing a sales pipeline. You will be actively involved in setting & developing strategic plans for business growth, researching new, markets customers & preparing presentations.
This is an ideal role for a hungry commercial professional, keen to make their mark and have autonomy, with full support or senior management.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous logistics / 3PL experience
- Previous commercial experience
- Proven sales / commercial background
- Full driving licence
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and IT skills
