Role Overview

Retail Assistants are key members of the team at LaplandUK as they are the face of Lapland while guests are in our retail areas.  The role is a great opportunity for enthusiastic guest focused individuals to join a friendly team in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Based at our Ascot event site the Retail Assistants will be responsible for engaging with families and enabling them to take a memory of their day home with them along with making sure that the stores are clean and tidy and well stocked with Lapland items.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet and exceed customers’ expectations, by welcoming guests into our stores and engaging with the families while following the Lapland operating procedures and sequence of service.

    UK

  • Engage with children and families to demonstrate toys, games and other products.

  • Immerse yourself in the Lapland narrative and extend the show elements into the retail outlets.

  • Have a thorough knowledge of all the products in the retail outlets and be able to make appropriate recommendations to the guests.

  • Talk to guests in a friendly manner.

  • Actively offer services and additional items to improve the guest experience.

  • Follow all relevant costume and process standards.

  • Attend any training as required.

Key Attributes

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn and be part of Lapland.
  • Bright and articulate - Excellent verbal communication skills.
