Our client is actively seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic / Heavy Vehcile Technician to work 4 Shifts On / 4 Shift Off (Night Shift, 6pm - 5pm) in the Reading area. You will have at least 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Vehicle Engineer / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician and hold a recognised qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Full Apprenticeship).
General duties for this role include:
- Heavy Vehicle Inspections
- Running Defects
- Servicing, Maintenance & Repair
- Pre MOT Preparation
- Engine & Gearbox Repairs & Overhauls
- Complete all the relevant paperwork to a high standard
This position pays a basic hourly rate of £28 phr (£55,000 per year) and you will work a shift pattern of 4 Nights On / 4 Nights Off (6:00pm - 5:00pm,11 Hour Shifts)
