Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Warehouse Operative/Pickers for our established automotive distribution client based in Brislington, BS4.

This is a temporary to permanent role, with successful candidates taken on as a permanent member of staff after a period of 12 qualifying weeks.

Shifts & salary:

• Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17.30
• Alternate Saturdays 8am - 12
• £11.70 per hour
• 1 hour unpaid break per shift
• Average 42.5 hours per week
• Ongoing work with potential for a permanent role after 12 full weeks qualifying period

To start as soon as possible.

Role details:

• Loading vehicle
• Delivery driving standard transit van sized vehicle
• At times, if returning to the warehouse early there may be time you can work in the warehouse to make up hours (see below)
• Generating pick sheets
• Picking order loads from sheets
• Carrying out warehouse operations, packing orders, processing goods
• Using hand held scanners to pick orders
• Manual handling and heavy lifting

The candidate:

• No more than 6 points on driving licence
• Delivery driving experience
• Has previous warehouse experience
• Must be capable of lifting up to 30kg
• Can start ASAP
