Salary/Rate:
£70,000 - £80,000/annum Package inc. Bonus

Job Purpose

This is a key role within each region/company. The management of procedures, systems and quality are paramount to the success of the region and the wider business and this appointment is considered to be critical in ensuring the highest standards of quality management are achieved and maintained.

- Practical experience
- M&E background / Construction Background
- Happy to travel
- 10/15 years experience

  • Adequate construction site experience
  • Good understanding of quality related processes within a construction environment.
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Good understanding of key tools and systems in use. e.g. SnagR, SmartWaste etc.
  • Exceptional people skills to listen and learn the various styles of personalities and learning needs
  • Good presentation style and verbal skills
  • Good construction industry technical knowledge and understanding
  • Understanding of design details
  • Familiarity of reviewing specifications and identification of key interfaces
  • Knowledge of the overall building process
  • Good understanding of legal requirements and ability to research / stay up to date with changing requirements
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to assess effectiveness of current processes and identify improvements
  • Ability to measure and monitor activities and produce reposrts to Senior Management on risk and
  • opportunities
  • Relevant internal auditor training by a 3rd Party to current ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 standards
  • Capability to operate in an impartial manner during the course of auditing
  • Good report writing skills, able to present evidence-based information succinctly and in a language / format that is easily understood by the
  • intended audience
  • Basic understanding of the NCR process
  • Knowledge of suitable Root Cause Analysis methods
  • Understanding of investigatory techniques and methodology
  • Ability to recognise trends and identify appropriate opportunities for improvement
  • Good report writing skills, able to present evidence-based information succinctly and in a language / format that is easily understood by the intended audience
