£70,000 - £72,500/annum Plus car, package & bonus

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to spearhead a new development in Dorset of 250 units which has just commenced.

Mainly made up of affordable housing which will offer long term security, as the Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of this expansive project. Your exceptional leadership skills, construction expertise, and dedication to excellence will ensure the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and workforce
- Lead a team of Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with the Build Manager to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Monitor and control all costs, quality, and progress of the project
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants to resolve any site issues and maintain project momentum
- Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and internal teams
- Implement effective risk management strategies and contingency plans
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality units within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, overseeing large-scale residential or commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and materials
- Extensive experience in managing and leading on-site teams of builders, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures on construction sites
- Results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and quality standards
- Solid understanding of project management principles and practices
- Relevant certifications and qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS
