This is one of the most well-established commercial contractors in Northamptonshire. They are a specialist new-build and refurbishment contractor in the commercial market; working across the education, industrial, apartments, residential, healthcare, blue light, leisure, retail and hospitality sectors.
The owner of this business is probably one of the most friendliest people I've met and he promotes a caring culture throughout his business. The positive benefits of this see a low turnover of staff and constant repeat business.

The Role
A QS in the business has retired and they're looking to replace him.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that developments are completed within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate costing and financial planning.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, validate costs, and manage any variations to contracts.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
