A great opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Traffic Management & Barrier Solution contractors.  Our client has a turnover of £125 million and employs 1500 staff across the UK. Our client, established over 40 years ago, is a framework contractor to National Highways and several national Civil Engineering companies.

The successful post-holder will join the commercial team and be involved in the preparation of bids/tenders. We are happy to consider application from Civil Engineering Graduates who are keen to pursue a career in estimating.

As Estimator you will:

• Assist in producing quotations/pricing works from drawings and specifications
• Be confident in working with clients (via phone and site visits) to understand their requirements
• Be responsible for negotiating contracts and securing new business

Our client requires an Estimator with:

• HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Strong communication skills
• Good IT skills, especially Excel
• Drive and determination to pursue an estimating career in Construction

Salary/Benefits for Estimating position:

• £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
• Car allowance
• Company pension
• 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
