Role Overview: Assembly and Test Technician

My client, a leading manufacture specialising in the aerospace and defence industry, is currently seeking a talented Assembly & Test Technician to join their team. As an Assembly and Test (A&T) Technician, you will play a critical role in the production process by assembling, testing, and validating components and systems according to technical specifications. You will be involved in a range of tasks including reading and understanding drawings and work instructions. You will work closely with engineering teams, ensuring that products meet quality and performance standards before they are delivered to clients or used in further production stages.

Key Responsibilities:Assembly and Test Technician

• Build/assembly of complex hydraulic products.
• Finding and testing faults of complex hydraulic products.  
• Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Use measuring equipment including Micrometres and height gauges to inspect component parts
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements: Assembly and Test Technician

• Proven experience within a either a complex engineering or manufacturing environment
• Have previous experience with Hydraulic Testing
• Able to read and follow different procedures
• Apprentice trained (ideally in mechanical engineering or other related apprenticeship course)
• Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
