365 People are currently recruiting for a experienced Press Brake Operator for our client based in Wigston. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of press brake machines to bend, shape, and cut metal materials according to specifications.
This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of metalworking processes to produce high-quality parts and components. The operator will be expected to maintain equipment, ensure the accuracy of outputs, and work closely with other team members to meet production goals.
The successful candidate must also a valid forklift license.
Hours:
8.00am – 4.30pm days Monday – Friday
4.30pm – 3.00am Monday to Thursday Night shift
Main duties will include.
- Adjust and load tools as required to perform correct folds and bends.
- To read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Maintain and ensure equipment is safe, clean and in good working order.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, always adhering to Health and Safety procedures and policies.
- Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Must possess experience operating and setting Amada press brake machines.
- Possess a good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Be able to work within a team or on your own.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Pay attention to detail and quality.
