Job Title: Mill Operative

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate two flour mills in a 24/7 production environment.
• Monitor and adjust cleaning and mill processing equipment.
• Ensure the production of high-quality flour within specified standards.
• Continuously work to increase mill capacity and optimize yield performance.
• Comply with all food safety regulations and relevant programs (e.g., HACCP), while maintaining necessary documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Assist the maintenance department with preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Complete various shift production and food safety reports.
• Load flour tankers as required.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work 12-hour shift patterns, including nights and days.
• Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
• Previous experience in a similar setting is beneficial, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
• Good physical fitness is required for this role.
