VAT Bookkeeper | Westerham | Hybrid potential | Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm – can be flexible for the right candidate | up to £30,000

Our client is a team of qualified accountants with over 90 years combined experience. They have accountants in Kent and accountants in London, serving clients in the surrounding areas. The team includes financial advisors, tax accountants and wealth management experts.

Job Responsibilities.

• Preparation of VAT returns
• Reconciling sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank accounts
• Preparation and filing of VAT returns using all VAT schemes
• Communicating with clients via email & telephone
• VAT registrations
• Other general bookkeeping to assist accounts team
• Assisting with HMRC VAT investigations
• Communicating with HMRC when required

Skills Required.

• Minimum two years’ experience in a VAT/Bookkeeping position
• Strong knowledge in Xero and other accounting software
• Strong IT Skills
