My client is seeking an AV Project Engineer to join their team. You may be an AV Commissioning Engineer looking for their next step and have an interest in pursuing a Project Engineer role as part of your career progression. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and AV Hardware and will have experience of directly dealing with clients.

Please note - you MUST have AV experience to be considered for this opportunity.

This is a Hybrid role so would suit someone looking for flexibility in their working week.

Duties:

• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives
• Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant tools to develop detailed engineering plans for AV integration projects
• Ensure that project designs adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and budget constraints
• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of hardware components to ensure compatibility and reliability
• Provide technical guidance to the installation team throughout project implementation
• Work closely as the technical expert with the Project Manager and wider project team
• Be the AV engineering subject matter expert on all things related to AV project delivery
• Collaborate closely with project managers and installation teams to address technical challenges and maintain quality standards
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications
• Attend site for sign off and approval of project delivery with your Project Manager
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, and progress reports
• Communicate project status updates and key information to internal stakeholders and clients
