An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join our client's team based in, Bristol. Our client, a leading organisation in the technology industry, is seeking a talented individual who can provide analytical and commercial support to drive business growth.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in delivering financial governance for a major contract. You will work closely with the Service Management & Customer Experience Director, providing accurate reporting, forecasts, and insights to aid decision-making. Your responsibilities will include owning and driving billing and revenue recognition, as well as managing risk and control.

The successful candidate will have a keen commercial mindset and a solid understanding of contractual mechanisms. As a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders, you will champion fair value return for our client. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be establishing and maintaining positive relationships at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

📈 Drive delivery of financials, including P&L, Capex, billing, and debt management.

🔎 Apply contractual mechanisms to financials, becoming a trusted advisor to commercial and technical teams.

📊 Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.

🤝 Establish and preserve positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

🌟 Support strategy development and implementation through insights and key reports.

📈 Utilise data analytics to make informed decisions and deliver value to the business.

🔄 Continuously improve finance processes and systems.

Requirements:

📚 Qualified Accountant

🤝 Strong business partnering experience

💼 Experience managing P&L and/or Capex

💼 Experience interacting with external customer accounts (preferred)

💼 Experience in a contract accounting environment (preferred)

🌟 Experience in driving strategy (preferred)
