Architectural Technician

As an Architectural Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design process by creating detailed architectural plans and drawings. Your expertise in CAD software will be essential in developing accurate and precise designs. You will collaborate closely with the team, to ensure the successful completion of projects. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of building regulations, and proficiency in various software tools are key skills required for this role. Architectural Technician requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup for creating architectural designs and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of planning policies, Building Regulations, and UK construction standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic presentations would be preferred but not essential.

Architectural Technician responsibilities:

• Work as a team to develop architectural plans and drawings.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed architectural designs and technical drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for design development.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of design deliverables.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.Ideally, we are looking for experienced architectural technicians who can run their own projects and are also proficient in using AutoCAD and Sketchup. Aprentices can apply.

Salary: £20,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Depending on Experience
