Position: Contracts Manager/ Estimator – Mixed role
Location: Manchester
Salary: >£40k + benefits
This is a great opportunity for a Contracts Manager/ Estimator to join our fitout client to ensure the smooth running of projects from beginning to end.
The Contracts Manager/ Estimator will be responsible for:
- Delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Submitting and agreeing applications for payment and final accounts.
- Producing health & safety documentation such as Risk Assessments & Method Statements whilst ensuring that all health & safety legislation and company policies are adhered to at all times.
- Liaising with colleagues, sub-contractors and clients from inception to completion of all projects.
The Contracts Manager/ Estimator will be
- Confident.
- Forward thinking.
- An excellent communicator.
- Methodical.
- Highly motivated.
- Skilled in negotiation.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially Excel & Project.
- Knowledgeable in health & safety.
- Able to interpret construction drawings.
Experience needed for the Contracts Manager/ Estimator’s position:
- Experience in the shopfitting industry is desirable but not essential.
- The right candidate will be from a trades background, preferably from a joinery bias
