A forward-thinking technology company, collaborating with major global brands, is expanding its new office in Llandysul. They are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join their team as they transition the role in-house.

In this role, you'll leverage your technical skills in a supportive, collaborative environment that values learning and innovation. You'll help maintain system stability and reliability by developing tools, processes, and best practices to optimise infrastructure and minimise downtime.

You'll use Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting to build and maintain monitoring systems, troubleshoot production issues, enhance application performance, and implement automation. You'll also conduct performance testing and capacity planning to support growth.

Experience required

  • Proven experience in roles such as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or Application Support Engineer.
  • Strong skills in Windows/Linux environments and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting methods.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes

The position will be West Wales based with 2 days a week requirement in Llandysul office and does not offer sponsorship.
