Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support in the milling and turning section by completing full 2nd check, ensuring this is completed for each batch, after setting for production
• Use a range of measuring equipment to complete inspections for medium, small and tight tolerances
• Interpret component drawings ensuring completed components are to customer expectations
• Operation/ running of the Co-ordinate measuring machines (CMM)
• Ensure that the measuring equipment is regularly calibrated
• Carrying out routine quality and 5s audit checks of patrolled batches
• Assist in production with queries, standards or other issues and liaising with QA

The ideal Inspector will:

• Hold a recognized engineering apprenticeship
• Have experience with turning, milling, mechanical or inspection
• Experience of operating Mitutoyo and Aberlink CMM Machines (desirable)
• Be IT literate

Working Hours:

• Double day shift (39 hours a week)
• Early shift: Monday to Thursday: 06.00 am - 14.00 pm / Friday:06.00 am - 13.00 pm
• Late shift: Monday to Thursday: 14.00 pm - 22.15 pm / Friday: 13.00 pm - 19.00 pm
