The BIM Manager/IFC Specialist is a dynamic and innovative role which will shape the future of our company's digital construction landscape. This is a visionary leader with a passion for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a commitment to excellence.

As a BIM Manager, you will be at the forefront of advancing our digital transformation, driving the integration of cutting-edge technologies, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Your expertise in IFC exchange standards between Catia and Revit will be instrumental in ensuring seamless interoperability and data exchange, empowering our teams to deliver projects with precision and efficiency. You will define and refine our BIM processes, setting new benchmarks for quality and consistency across all project phases. By developing comprehensive Revit templates and a robust BIM Execution Plan (BEP), you will lay the groundwork for successful project delivery and set the stage for long-term success. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and consultants, to create a cohesive and integrated BIM environment.

As a IFC Exchange Management:

  • Co-lead the establishment of clear protocols and standards for Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) exchanges between Catia and Revit.
  • Ensure compliance with international and industry-specific IFC standards to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability.
  • Help develop and configure efficient export and import settings for IFC files in both Catia and Revit.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the transfer process by defining precise mapping and conversion rules.
  • Conduct regular tests and validation processes to ensure the robustness and reliability of IFC exchanges.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to data loss, discrepancies, or inconsistencies during the exchange process.

As a Revit Template Developer

  • Develop a set of standardized Revit templates that align with the company's project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ensure templates incorporate consistent naming conventions, units, and drawing standards.
  • Tailor templates to meet specific project needs, including custom parameters, schedules, and views.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive library of standard Revit families, components, and details to be used within templates
  • Regularly update and maintain Revit templates to incorporate new features, standards, and best practices.

As a BEP developer

  • Create a comprehensive roadmap outlining the BIM exchange process with consultants.
  • Define short-term and long-term goals for BIM implementation and integration.
  • Development for process of document management system (EDMS) and collaborative
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and other stakeholders to align BIM strategies and objectives.
  • Develop detailed documentation of the BIM roadmap, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain a detailed BIM Execution Plan (BEP) that outlines the processes, standards, and protocols for BEP.
  • Ensure that the BEP is aligned with project goals, client requirements, and industry standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of the BEP across all projects, ensuring compliance with defined protocols.

Automation (Future Roadmap)

  • Create and implement automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks within Revit and other BIM software.
  • Focus on automating data validation, clash detection, model checking, and report generation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Integrate BIM tools with other project management and documentation systems to create a seamless workflow.
  • Ensure that all automated processes are compatible with existing systems and contribute to overall project efficiency.

IFC Quality Control (Future Roadmap)

  • Establish rigorous IFC control and checking protocols to ensure data accuracy and consistency in BIM models.
  • Define standards and procedures for IFC model validation, including geometry, data integrity, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Utilize model checking tools to automate the validation of IFC models against predefined standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure that all models meet the required quality and standards.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in IFC models through systematic checks and validations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address and rectify errors, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the IFC model checking process, including issues identified and resolutions
