Qualifications

  • Accredited in fire, security, and gas detection systems.
  • Experience in project management, both onshore and offshore.
  • Proficient in designing fire, security, and gas detection systems.
  • Strong skills in providing quotations, budgets, and estimates.
  • Familiarity with systems like Gent, Honeywell, Pelco, Hikvision, EMS, HKC, Minerva.
  • Ability to pass BS7858 vetting/screening within 12 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

Project & Technical Management:

  • Manage fire, security, and gas detection projects from concept to closure, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the design of fire, security, and gas detection systems according to relevant standards.
  • Provide technical and project support to clients and internal staff.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Forge and maintain relationships with internal management, work colleagues, clients (existing, new, and targets), and supply chain partners.
  • Engage positively with clients, promoting TEXO standards and values.
  • Prepare progress billing and invoicing for internal stakeholders.

Business Development:

  • Identify new market opportunities in collaboration with management.
  • Develop and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Promote cross-business development with internal and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and supervise F&S engineers and subcontractors.
  • Work with BAFE, SSAIB, SELECT, or equivalent bodies to gain and maintain accreditations.

Procurement & Budgeting:

  • Ensure 'best buy' procurement practices with existing and new suppliers.
  • Provide accurate quotations, budgets, and estimates to internal and external stakeholders.
