Recovery Team Manager - Mental Health Recovery Supported Living Service

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: Up to £28,350 per annum (based on experience, qualifications, and current/previous salary)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible over a 7-day rota

Are you passionate about supporting individuals on their journey to mental health recovery? This leading organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recovery Team Manager to oversee a new-build mental health supported living service in Redditch, Worcestershire. This service, designed for 14 individuals with mental health needs, is delivered in partnership with Bromford Housing Association and Worcestershire County Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a high-quality supported accommodation service.
  • Work with service users, their families, and other agencies to assess needs and plan successful transitions.
  • Promote a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere while ensuring staff are skilled in promoting recovery.
  • Deliver services in accordance with assessed needs, contract requirements, and quality standards.
  • Leadership and operational management of the service, including staff deployment and service delivery coordination.
  • Build positive partnerships with referrers and potential service users.
  • Promote the service effectively to external referrers and agencies.
  • Support the development of daily living skills and promote independence among service users.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years relevant experience, preferably in a mental health service or supported accommodation setting.
  • Experience managing and supervising staff, and coordinating care and support delivery.
  • Relevant health or social care qualification or degree.
  • Strong commitment to equality, inclusion, and promoting a person-centred recovery culture.
  • Excellent written communication, IT skills, and the ability to work positively with external agencies.
