Location: Emsworth
Salary: £83.33 - £95 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Long Term, Full Time, Temporary to permanent

GSL are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our special needs Secondary school near Emsworth. This school caters for around 100 pupils who require a personalised curriculum to meet their moderate learning needs, physical, sensory and language challenges, many of whom may be on the Autism Spectrum.
Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant may include:
- Working under the guidance of an experiences teacher.
- Working with small groups of KS3 and 4 children, through targeted interventions.
- Supporting teachers in assessing student progress.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where each child can flourish.
- Supporting children with strategies to regulate their emotions effectively.
- Safeguarding will be your number one priority, ensuring the welfare of the children.

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
