A leading main contractor are seeking two experienced and reliable Traffic Marshall / Banksman for a duration of 2 years on this large civils project on Shawbury, Shropshire.
Traffic Marshall/Banksman job description:
As a Traffic Marshall/Banksman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on and around the busy construction site in Shawbury Your primary responsibility will be to manage traffic flow, coordinate deliveries, and ensure the safety of site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage the movement of vehicles on site
• Coordinate and safely direct site deliveries
• Ensure the safety of site personnel
• Monitor and control access to the site
• Communicate effectively with drivers and site staff
• Implement and adhere to site safety protocols and procedures
• Report any incidents or near misses to the site manager
• Assist with other site duties as required
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Traffic Marshal Banksman on a construction site
• Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman certification (CPCS or NPORS)
• CSCS card
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
• Available to start by Monday
