Are you passionate about fashion, merchandising, and making a real impact in a growing business? TeamJobs is excited to be recruiting for a newly created Merchandiser role on behalf of a well-established, privately-owned British fashion brand that is rapidly expanding.

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
  • Annual Leave: 22 days, rising to 25 days after a qualifying length of service
  • Working Hours: 9.30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with early finishes on Fridays during the summer
  • Clothing Allowance: £1,000

As the company continues to grow, a newly created Merchandiser position has emerged to bring added expertise and focus to their operations. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised individual to influence processes and contribute to the business's ongoing success. You will work closely with various departments under the guidance of the CFO and collaborate with the E-commerce and Marketplace specialist to enhance the brand's visibility and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and organise product assortments on the website and marketplace platforms.
  • Ensure accurate product information, pricing, and availability online.
  • Manage stock levels across multiple channels, recommending trading initiatives and stock replenishments.
  • Collaborate with external and internal vendors to ensure timely fulfilment of product images, content, and data sheets.
  • Develop in-house reporting dashboards to improve transparency and collaboration across departments.
  • Plan and monitor stock replenishments for concessions.
  • Work closely with the production team to demand plan the seasonal buy.
  • Develop and maintain the critical path for stock management and replenishment across territories.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a merchandiser, buyer, or demand planner role, ideally within a high-volume brand.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Background in retail or head office merchandising is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
