I am working with a Housing Association who are looking to recruit a Contract Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join organisation that is continuing to grow and is always evolving. The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Contract Leads who are based across the South and will be a hybrid role. You will ensure effective and efficient delivery of repairs, maintenance, and capital works through supporting contractors. This role focuses on maintaining customer satisfaction, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial targets, and upholding health and safety standards across a designated region.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional in contract management with a strong background in overseeing construction or maintenance projects. The position would suit someone who thrives in a leadership role, possesses excellent organisational and communication skills, and is committed to ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

- Oversee contract performance, ensuring terms are met, and provide reports against agreed SLAs and KPIs.

- Prepare and review contract documentation and specifications, monitoring compliance and assessing potential claims.

- Manage repairs, maintenance, and capital programmes, including budget control and on-site monitoring.

- Inspect ongoing and completed work by contractors, ensuring quality, satisfaction, safety, and compliance.

- Maintain accurate records, both manual and computerised, for all contract-related activities.

Experience required: -

• Proven experience working in a similar environment ideally within a housing association or contractor who serves into the housing sector
• Good experience of managing external subcontractors
• Good H&S awareness
• Ideally hold a HNC in a relevant field.
