An architectural metalwork company based in South Yorkshire is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join their team.
Key Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Thursday), 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Friday)
- Salary: £35,000 per annum
- Location: Office-based
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings of handrails, balustrades, and staircases using Advanced Steel and AutoCAD.
- Manage the design process from start to finish, including client interaction and calculations.
- Conduct site surveys across the UK as required (pool van and fuel card available).
- Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Engage directly with clients to ensure their design needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the architectural metalwork industry.
- Proficiency in Advanced Steel and AutoCAD software.
- Strong ability to produce precise technical drawings and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and collaboration with internal teams.
- Flexibility to travel for site surveys as needed.
