Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for 7.5T Multi-drop Delivery Drivers for our clients based within UB postcode areas (Uxbridge / Greenford / Southall / Hayes / West Drayton etc)

PLEASE NOTE ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS - SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED

PAYE £15.50 to £18.00 per hour (including holiday pay)

Type of shifts for 7.5T Drivers (depending on company):

• Multi drop deliveries in and around M25
• Delivering catering equipment, printers, electrical supplies, piping, flooring etc
• Deliver and collect tool / plant hire and construction equipment
• Scaffolding deliveries/collections
• Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
• Start times can vary between 5:30 and 8am

Requirements of a 7.5T Driver:

• Valid UK CAT C1 licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
• A manual driving licence
• At least 1-year experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required)
• Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C1) in the past 12 months
• You must be over the age of 25 years (insurance purposes)
• Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards

Rates of pay for 7.5T Driver:

• We pay for a minimum of 10 hours a day (breaks are not paid)
• PAYE £15.50 to £18.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
