Commercial Gas Engineer

A turn-key contractor are looking to strenthen their team and are recruiting for a commercial gas engineer. The role involves commercial gas works, including installations, gas safety inspections, fault finding, and plumbing works across central England, North-West, and Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain gas-fired heating, hot water appliances, and unvented hot water systems.
- Conduct fault diagnostics and general plumbing work, including sanitary installations.
- Assist M+E contract manager with maintenance, refurbishment projects, and pre-construction activities.
- Supervise site health & safety, operatives, and supply chain.
- Manage quotations, site meetings, progress reports, and project handovers.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a.
- Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems Certificate (G3).
- Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) Certificate.
- Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating.
- Pipefitting experience: Screwed, Press fit & soldered pipework.
