Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take on an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in traditional build residential developments. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established company on high-profile residential projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for traditional build residential developments.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure accurate cost forecasting and project progress.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring value for money and quality.
• Oversee cost control, monitoring, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in traditional build residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable.
