Mechanical Project Manager

We are currently partnered with a well respected M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £50m and a strong presence delivering for leading main contractors across the commercial, healthcare and life-science sectors who are looking for a mechanical project manager to join their team.
Based from their head office in Kings Cross, you will join from pre-construction phase tasked with delivering a £12m M&E mixed use commercial scheme, transitioning on-site early in 2025 to lead the mechanical package through to PC.
Reporting to an operations manager, you will work alongside an electrical PM of the same level and have a full overview of the mechanical package and your team from a technical and leadership perspective.
Duties:
Reviewing drawings and coordinating material distribution.
• Communicating effectively with site labour.
• Enforcing health and safety policies and method statements.
• Managing material schedules and orders.
• Maintaining a site diary to record and report issues.
• Monitoring site progress and guiding operatives.
• Coordinating with main contractors on access and material deliveries.
• Ensuring high standards of quality and safety on site.
• Preparing construction programmes and managing resourcing issues.
• Attending site meetings and managing risks.
• Ensuring all work complies with specifications and is properly documented.
