Major Recruitment are looking for Production Supervisors to join a Tech company based in Orpington, Greater London.
As a Production Supervisor, you will:
- Be managing the assembly team to ensure that production goals are met.
- Develop and execute efficient production activities.
- Increase motivation by implementing reward-based systems.
- React & adapt to changes within the market and customer demands.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends & competitors.
- Conduct regular staff performance reviews.
- Develop lean manufacturing principles.
- Be able to get hands on in the production process when necessary.
- Prepare equipment and paperwork ready for shipment.
- Manage the goods in and out process.
- Maintain installation records.
A successful Production Supervisor will have:
- Experience managing an assembly team
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods
- NVQ level 3 or above in a technical subject such as engineering or manufacturing
- A clean driving licence
- Ability to understand technical instructions and specifications
Benefits:
- Salary between £36,000 - £40,000 DOE
